Migration Vacations will allow supporters of The Project Migration Foundation and the Project Migration fashion line to have a special opportunity to personally hand-deliver medical supplies (supported by the sale of Project Migration shirts), and educate women on their use, while traveling to multiple locations with our mobile medical clinics. We will be bringing volunteer doctors who will help single mothers who are pregnant, giving birth or sick.
The medical missions, or 'Migration Vacations', are so named to inspire people to use their 'vacation time' from work to do something positive and meaningful in the world.
The trips will make certain that the supplies are going directly into the hands of the single mothers who need them and will aid in creating a global community outreach, attracting more and more people to support the struggling single mothers of East Africa.

We will be doing two styles of trips:
Sadaka Trips (Sadaka translation: charity, in the Swahili language)
This is a luxury-style trip, to get involved and a taste of real life in Africa, while helping those in need.
Brief summary of trip: You will meet us in East Africa (location depending on specific trip and mission). We will meet you at the airport and escort you to the resort where you can recieve spa treatments and relax after your flight. During the following week, we will visit one other resort, and take day-long medical mission trips to clinics and remote locations, via a comfortable safari vehicle. You may choose to come on any or all of the missions, and be as involved as you feel comfortable, or you may choose to spend the day on Safari or at the spa.
Ekisa Trips (Ekisa translation: kindness, in the Luganda language)
This is more of a hands-on medical aid mission, and is more financially economical.
Brief summary of trip: You will meet us at a hotel in East Africa (location depending on specific trip and mission). During the following week, we will take day-long medical mission trips to clinics and remote locations. You may rent a car, or travel with us in the mobile medical clinic. You may choose to come on any or all of the missions, and be as involved as you feel comfortable.
Stay tuned for details about our first trip - Fall 2010.
